From the Sputnik Modular website…
The SPUTNIK SELECTOR is a sequential switch that allows the automated routing of one of four inputs to a single output. The Selector is able to switch between 2, 3, or 4 of the inputs and four direction modes (three on the front panel and one “hidden” mode) are available. Input selection can be advanced by a trigger/gate input or manual button.
The Selector has many uses, but pairs very well with the new Sputnik 5-step and 16-step sequencers. By routing each sequence row output to the different inputs on the Selector, and triggering it to switch inputs using one of the sequencer Pulse Outs, we can turn a 5-step sequencer into a 20-step sequencer. And with some creative use of the Pulse Out trigger outputs, we can potentially turn that 5-step sequencer into a 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 15 or 16-step sequencer as well.
Here’s Baseck demonstrating the two modules together…
We are incredibly excited about this Selector giveaway, hopefully you are too! Spread the word and help us reach our goal, so we can do another one!
